Just a brief report while the Mutt is still busy at work outside!
The mixer we went to last night up near Hartford was terrific. This was a mini-mixer, one of many that will be thrown in preparation and anticipation of the main event in June. The mini was attended by more than a hundred people and we got a chance to talk with actors (I have a folder now full of head shots and resumes), producers, writers, screenwriters, directors, acting coaches and all manner of artists. It was an amazing "little" gathering.
It was a catered affair, casual, there was a DJ, a green screen room to film interviews in, and a big screen set up in the parking lot outside of the film production company it was held in where we watched trailers from some of the movies a few of the attendees were working on, such as Curse of Micah Road. We also met up quite accidentally with an old friend of mine who has apparently won two Emmy awards for his documentary work, seen on PBS.
We got to talk with lots of interested folks, and the Mutt did the Goddess proud. I'll let him fill in all the details when he gets online later tonight, but I just wanted to share a couple of pictures, and express how truly amazed I am, every day at the energy, the determination and the creativity of our Mutt.
And now on to the pictures... The Mutt by day and by night!
