Surviving Tribulation

Let us consider who and what our enemy is.
Jesus said Satan is is the Father of Lies.  He is the accuser of the Brethren.
He seeks to devour souls roaring like a lion.  He comes to kill and destroy.

In the three times Jesus himself was tempted by Satan what was his unbeatable defense?
All three times Jesus used Scripture.  By those examples alone we have but one way to deny Satan.
During the earthly ministry of Christ were we not asked of the value of fear or worry?
Didn't Christ say to us, "Don't not worry of anything for yourself?"

It seems to me that we have to consider all words of Jesus while we are mindful
that He is the Prince of Peace.

Remember all Nations will bow and all tongues will confess that Jesus is Lord of Lords.
Is America excluded from such a declaration?
Didn't Jesus say that many who prophesy my name I will deny in the days of judgment?

God's elect must know why there are many parts of the whole armor of God.
They must also know that just wearing it alone will not be enough to avoid destruction.
If we don't stand in the formation of spiritual warriors the armor will fail:
Ephesians 6:18
Praying with all prayers and supplication in the spirit, and watching there unto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Ephesians 6:14-17 offers us a metaphorical description for the edification of salvation's virtue.

Ephesians 6:13 demands that we present ourselves after great and diligent preparation. (having done all to stand.)

There is no by chance order of description of armor.  Loins girded in truth means we see that battle as it must happen.
There breastplate of righteousness places our love of the Father above the base emotions Satan uses to deceive us.  Our feet are shod
in the gospel of peace meaning we need no poised stance for charge.  The sword of truth is simply scripture Jesus used to defeat Satan's attacks.
Most important is the helmet of Salvation.  Only a calm mind can discern the trappings of wickedness.

Praise God in His Glory through the grace of Jesus Amen.
