Blessings can come to you without even knowing it.
When I reflect on the importance of life and apply that importance to my own living I think of how it might be when I am reflecting on living. I am convinced your life only means something when you actually do something for others. That is a truthful legacy, because they'll never forget you or the deed done for them.
This past week Tracy and I have presented a collection of poetry to a writer in a book format. I just received the confirmation to publish as is since she has reviewed the proof. One more author for My Mutt Publications. Welcome aboard Tina Powers! We'll have her linked up after all the finalizing is complete. We also are very close to compiling another book for another concern I can't reveal just yet, but the anticipation of it is long into labor of a finished pregnancy. As far as I know this book is a one of a kind, much like some of our other work. If my guess is right, there will be many more of them to follow.
There is one more final victory I want to speak to for the past week. By far it is more important than all other things I or We can do. Yesterday we went along with a friend to church service that never gave church much thought previously. There were several weeks of nudging before this happened, but it finally did and she is now committed to living for more than she knew and hated for living. There was no brow beating, no arm twisting, just a diet of milk and honey along with patience.
We ask for blessings all the time. The trick of realizing blessings comes by forgetting what you expect and opening your eyes to what the blessing giver. No money has been made for any of our past weeks work, so we aren't enriched monetarily. But Tina walks with a new identity. She is no longer as fearful as she once was, but rather now has a reason to go out present herself to the world as she never could before. That can't be equated to any type of monetary wealth. Shortly the next work will do the same for many more. Finally as Christians we are supposed to build the church.
How could God not be proud of His children working together in such a manner?
I've known victories of all sorts. This past week is by far a week of victory that is the greatest yet, but nowhere close to the last.
