work of the day

Each day we rise to meet the sun we have choices to make of priority for how the day is to be lived.
In the past years the priorities I applied are not known in application of today.
I know a greater liberty for this change because I am no longer enslaved by anger or frustration.

This is because I have begun to focus on truth hidden in the scriptures of the gospels built upon the prophecy of the Old Testament.
Today our nation comes to a choice of great importance.  This choice is saved for a time that will be a portion of a day in November.
That is the day when we as Americans will rise to endorse one answer to that choice or another.

If we know what our choice will be, why are we consumed about the things we can't control until that time?
What value is there in obliging ourselves to focusing on that which is already decided?
I know there is no value in such contemplation.  I know for a very good truth.

In anger and frustration I wrote of these days hoping that the words could convince others of trouble to come and even wrote suggestions
that could have capitalized on correction in the last elections.  These things I wrote began at the same time Andrew Breitbart picked up his sword.
Obviously Andrew had a better marketing plan.  The reality of it is that even though his marketing was better my words and suggestions were closer to prophecy.

Today the media has determined that it is safe and wise to point out what was clearly said years ago.  The focus is now mainstream and while it is mainstream many know who they will vote for in the date set forth by our laws.  The trouble is found in the continual focus and waste of the coming decision.  If those immersing themselves in the back and forth of this contest think minds will be changed for the verbiage exchanged I can save them time and even offer them benefit for considering their today's and the priorities of their today's differently.

Sharing ideas of why you have arrived at your decision is fine if someone is asking you.  If it is anything else it just grows the dissension abounding.
What if we were to as believers in Christ put away the things that keep us from Him?  Step back from the thing you are already decided on and look for the immediate needs of this day.

Are your actions of this day in alignment with the directions of your savior?  You must be honest about this when you ask yourself about your works.
Our constitution says we are one Nation Under God.  Our oldest documents give glory to God from our inception.  Is debate on that issue worthy enough to keep us from the work Christ gave us authority in doing?  Do you know if your food pantries are understocked or full?  Are your church ministries begging for funding?

If we truly believe God's blessing is enough to deliver justice why do our tithes endure the theft given to political contributions?
Just who says it is more important to focus on negativity of a decision you have already decided on while so much work in God's Inheritance goes undone?

James 2:4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Imagine if in your day you set out to do the loving charity of God's work for a neighbor in need.  Is this person not also a voter?
If you offer them services as a blessing because you are blessed, might there be an opportunity to share your decision to be made in a convincing way so that they would see it similarly?  In such a deed would you not be investing in your eternity rather than the evil living in propagated dissension?

The people in the business of speaking the obvious do so so you will respond as though you have been enlightened.
Somewhere a woman is considering terrible options on how to feed her child.  In another place someone else is deciding whether to buy medicine or food.  In yet another place someone else is keeping light in their home at night by candlelight.  Yes all of these realities can be changed after the time coming in November.  What can you do to change them before then?

The greatest responsibility there is in being a Christian is not in debate of a time to come.  Our example is in the Gospels and in the three years Christ had His earthly Ministry did He ever stop showing us His authority as directed to Him by GOD?  Are you as Christians carrying your cross this day in action of deeds?  Or is the cross in the corner collecting dust while you judge evil and the thinking of evil?

I rebuked evil in the harshest way possible and you can read it in two books.
Hypocronance
Watchman on the Gate
I set the seed and left it to God.  Today as I honor this day as a gift from God I will do the work in front of me looking for an opportunity to be a blessing
because I am blessed.  It might show up on a bus ride to work, or maybe just aiding a motorist that finds them-self broken down.  Maybe it will be in helping a neighbor out in an obvious observation of being short handed, or maybe it will only be a kind word to someone lost in darkness they can't depart from alone.

I won't engage the foolishness of lost freedoms, here is why.  As I am part of the body and church of Christ there is no law written by man that can confine me.  If that law requires suffering or imprisonment for my faith in God then so be it.  Jesus said a time would come when we as His disciples
would endure such things.  My flesh can be killed only once, but my Spirit will know an eternity.

Decisions of being a citizen need to be made for living in the flesh, but they need to be made as citizens in a Nation Under God.
I will vote in November for the candidate that presents liberty promised similarly to the liberty Christ promised hanging on the cross.
Until that time my work is to be an example so the world that doesn't know will want what I am blessed by in God's Glory and Jesus' sacrifice.
I'll bet more folks will vote as I will for receiving help as that example rather than if I judged evil thoughts that increased dissension.
